The right preparation depends on your hair type and the style you've chosen, so I'll advise you directly when you get in touch. If your hair feels particularly dry or damaged, a hair botox treatment beforehand can help, but it isn't necessary for every event appointment. The aim is to choose the right service for your hair, not to add treatments you don't need.

Should You Refresh Your Colour Before a Special Occasion?

Sometimes a blow-dry or updo is all you need. In other cases, faded colour, visible roots or brassy balayage or highlights may be what you're noticing in the mirror. If you want to refresh your colour before an event, I can tell you honestly whether a root touch-up, toner or gloss would be appropriate. For more substantial colour work, it's best to get in touch in advance so there's enough time for the hair to settle before styling.
